What we measure

To improve the site, we measure visits with PostHog, an analytics service:

• pages viewed and time on each page
• how far you scroll and what you tap or click

While measurement is on, PostHog keeps a random visitor ID in a cookie and in this browser’s local storage for up to a year; turning measurement off deletes it. PostHog also keeps session data in this browser’s session storage, and its cookie’s one-year expiry renews on each visit.

Measurement starts automatically when the page loads; you can turn it off at any time below or by adding ?optout=1 to any address. PostHog processes this data in the United States.

The preview is hosted on Cloudflare, which also counts page visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare also records the page address, your browser and device type, page-load timings and which element you tapped. It does not use cookies.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell this data or use it for advertising.

Questions or opting out

Email alex@websitekids.com with any questions, to opt out, or to ask us to delete data linked to your visit. You can also turn measurement off for this browser here.

Turning measurement off stops PostHog only. Cloudflare’s page counting continues.

After you opt out, this browser keeps a small “opted out” flag (no ID) so measurement stays off.
